About the project

First social affordable rental housing project in Armenia (Dutch-Armenian cooperation) for middle-income Dilijan families (household income AMD 200-250k/month). Phased: phase I - 16 energy-efficient terraced-housing apartments, completed December 2014 (financed by Dutch International Guarantees for Housing, guaranteed by Groen West); phase II - 38 apartments (18 terraced + 20 in a reconstructed apartment building) subject to investment; phase III - 150 apartments; target up to 200 managed social rental/affordable units.
